Description

Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 1 Lab
For Physical Therapists and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, and Orthotists

Inside this hands-on lab, you'll apply the principles and strategies you learned in the corresponding online course beginning with the measurement of sagittal-plane spinal and pelvic alignment in sitting and standing positions.

Next, you'll don TheraTogs garments and assorted straps to optimize postural alignment and bodyweight loading on the feet in standing position.

Upon successful completion of the lab, you'll receive a Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 1 credential within two weeks.

Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 2 Lab
For Physical Therapists and Assistants and Orthotists

Designed to build upon the principles and strategies of Lab 1 pertaining to aligning the torso in the sagittal plane — and the corresponding online course — in Lab 2 you'll identify and address factors at the hip joint and femur that can contribute to altered foot progression angle (FPA) in walking.

You'll learn to execute precisely three musculoskeletal assessment procedures to quantify hip medial and lateral rotation range of motion (ROM) and femoral torsion. And under your instructor's supervision, you'll perform strapping applications addressing persistent pelvic retraction, in-toed and out-toed gait, and stance-phase hip stability.

Upon successful completion of the lab, you'll receive a Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 2 credential within two weeks.

Please note: Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 1 Lab is a prerequisite for Certified TheraTogs Fitter - 2 Lab. And to enroll in Lab 2, you must have successfully completed both on-demand courses.
