Training & Operations Coordinator

Telluride, Colorado OR Remote
$25 to $35 per hour DOE + Performance Bonuses
30 hours/week, with flexibility in working hours

Position Overview

Progressive GaitWays LLC seeks a multi-skilled administrative wizard to coordinate the daily operations of our 25-year-old training and product company. The position starts at 30 hours/week with flexibility in working hours, and may be performed onsite, via remote work, or a combination of the two.

We’re looking for a solid contributor who can run the business and help us grow it to its full potential – and share in the upside that results.

We already have a remote team in place:

• A marketing virtuoso to foster interest in our training and rehabilitation products

• A bookkeeping service to do the bulk of QuickBooks data entry, reconciliations, and reports

• A CEU administrative resource to monitor and maintain CEU status for training offerings

• An offsite order fulfillment team to ship product orders to US and worldwide markets.

Your Contributions...

Customer Satisfaction:

Daily handling of routine email, phone, and voicemail communications with customers, clients, and suppliers.

Training Support:

Coordinating the site selection, scheduling, and delivery of in-person training courses (US and international)

Monitoring course and webinar offerings and providing excellent attendee support

Performing desktop publishing tasks (course rosters, labels, lists, and other support documents) and fulfilling other content preparation and production duties in support of courses and webinars

Coordinating the continuing education (CEU) credit process, course certificate distribution, and CEU follow up tasks

"Stuff management" – coordinating, purchasing, and shipping inventory items, teaching tools, teaching materials, etc. as required for in-person courses (US and international).

Product Sales & Fulfillment Support:

Maintaining ample product inventory (at offsite fulfillment center) in cost-effective manner

Maintaining product information on Spotify website

Assist in the selection, sourcing, and/or development of new products.

Marketing Support:

Pitching in on marketing and social media support tasks as assigned

Maintaining the company’s CRM database (we’re migrating to the Active Campaign platform).

General Operations:

Light bookkeeping tasks - processing corporate orders and monitoring payables and receivables

Support bookkeeping and CPA in completing monthly and quarterly accounting tasks

Other general office administration and operational responsibilities, as needed.

Your Experience and Skills...

The ideal candidate possesses the following experiences and skills.

Essential:

Solid organizational skills as shown by a minimum of two years’ successful experience in a marketing, training, coordination, or project management function. 

Writing and verbal skills sufficient to communicate effectively with customers via email, phone, and online.

Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Office365, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat, and website applications independently and effectively.

Social media skills – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, email marketing – and basic computer graphics skills are a significant plus.

Highly Valued:

Marketing, training, or coordination experience in the health care or physical rehabilitation fields.

Ability to use the Web, email, and other resources efficiently to prospect, research, and otherwise support marketing and logistics responsibilities.

Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a definite plus; we have a number of customers in South and Central America.

A BA or higher degree in a relevant field is helpful, but a college degree is not required.

Working Environment

We are a family-held business based in Lawson Hill (outside Telluride, Colorado). Our founder and president has 40 years’ experience in physical rehab and a world-wide reputation for high standards, scientific thinking, and a practical approach to the challenges of physical rehabilitation of neuromotor impairment. These traits drive our business, as well.

Dogs are prohibited in Lawson Hill, so furry friends and family members must be left at home. The office is a short distance from a SMART shuttle stop and multiple bike paths; parking is also available.

Requirements, Compensation, and Benefits

Hours: A flexible 30-hour work week is expected. Schedule flexibility is a given, as long as work requirements and deadlines are met.

Location: Local candidates are welcome to work onsite for all or part of her/his/their schedule. Although there are always benefits to working onsite/in-person, an experienced and talented candidate can be successful working remotely.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00/hour, commensurate with experience and abilities and depending on schedule requirements. Performance bonuses are expected to be part of the compensation package.

Benefits: Five paid holidays; five days of paid personal time (days off paid at six hours/day). Health benefits are not offered at this time.
