Benefits and Features

You can use the Five-Piece Lower Extremity and Spinal Assessment Tool Set to obtain measurements that can help you to define baselines, identify rehab objectives, and quantify progress following rehabilitation activities.

This Set contains the tools necessary to:

→ Assess the alignment of (1) load-bearing body segments e.g., sacral tilt (anteversion and obliquity in standing or sitting), (2) Spinal kyphosis and lordosis, (3) Posterior calcaneus (eversion or inversion)

→ Measure joint angles

→ Assess hamstring length, hip rotation ROM, femoral torsion, standing knee or tibial varum or valgum, standing knee flexion or hyperextension.

→ Measure the size of a pediatric cranium, and the width and depth of other body segments of suitable size

→ Measure pediatric pelvic obliquity at the superior iliac crests

→ Bisect the tibiofibular segment to draw the talar body landmark for open-chain foot assessment

→ Produce a traceable replication of the curvature of the spine or spinal segment, for measurement purposes.

Lower Extremity and Spinal Assessment Tool Set

The only lower extremity and spinal assessment tool set you'll need to perform consistent and accurate musculoskeletal assessments of the lower extremities and spine.

Telescoping Stick

Use the Telescoping Stick in combination with the Angle Finder to obtain measurements which can help you to define baselines, identify rehab objectives, and quantify progress following rehabilitation activities.

Angle Finder

Use this gravity-driven inclinometer to measure the alignment of load-bearing body segments — e.g. sacral tilt (anteversion and obliquity in standing or sitting), spinal kyphosis and lordosis (using two Angle Finders), and posterior calcaneus (eversion or inversion).

Use measurement results to define baseline,  identify rehab objectives, and quantify progress following rehabilitation activities.

Universal Pediatric Goniometer

Use the Universal Pediatric Goniometer for any neuromotor dysfunction or musculoskeletal mal-alignment that requires an accurate and easy assessment of angle or length.

Flexible Ruler

Assessment Caliper

The Assessment Caliper enables you to measure the size of a pediatric cranium; the width and depth of other body segments of suitable size; pediatric pelvic obliquity at the superior iliac crests; and bisect the tibiofibular segment to draw the talar body landmark for open-chain foot assessment.
